Retirement gave us the perfect opportunity to turn our passions into a rewarding hobby. With olive trees already gracing the landscape and plans for a flourishing garden underway, we’re creating a space that is both beautiful and bountiful. When we first bought the property the olive trees were in dire need of nourishment to start producing olives again. After some much needed trimming and fertilizing - this past year we were thrilled to be able to harvest and produce our second small batch of local delicious olive oil. In the fall of 2025 we added an additional 12 new olive trees and 7 Italian cypress, fig trees, cherry and apricot trees. Tending to the land, harvesting olives and the other fruit trees, and growing fresh ingredients isn’t just fulfilling - it’s a way to stay connected to the nature and rich history of life in Tuscany.
